We are pumping out some sweet heirloom tomatoe production from our hydroponic operation in our greenhouse. By tweaking the nitrogen, phosporus and potassium and micro nutrients we are getting better production from the hydroponics than we are from tomatoes we are growing in the ground. It took some time to fine tune this and we got some great advice from Rodrigo, an agronomist from Boquete. Our guests are raving about the Caprese salad that Alma makes at the restaurant. We are planning to expand the hydroponics for next high season.
