Female Red-Headed Barbet

Here are some great pics taken by Cary Bhudri who recently completed an exploratory trip here to Western Panama. He was able to join us on our own exploratory trip on a trek between Mount Totumas Cloud Forest and Finca Hartmanns in Santa Clara. Cary’s pics are a sneak preview of sorts. Imagine a cabin to cabin trek covering a range of habitats and elevation. Sound interesting? Just scan through these pics as a sneak preview of birds to be seen. Remember, these are just a few photos taken during a couple of days that Cary visited Mount Totumas along with a trek to Finca Hartmann’s with an afternoon visiting their productive feeder.

More information to follow. Thanks Cary!

Cabin Hammock
